About Team Cymru

Team Cymru’s mission is to save and improve human lives by helping public and private sector analysts track and take down cybercriminals. We provide visibility into global cyber threat activity and are a key intelligence source for leading cybersecurity and threat intelligence vendors.

Our Pure Signal™ platform gives enterprise security teams on-demand access to global internet traffic telemetry, providing clarity into what’s happening across the internet with a level of visibility comparable to their own internal networks. This allows organizations to close detection gaps, accelerate incident response, and get ahead of critical, recurring threats.

Team Cymru is a fast-paced, distribution-focused, private equity-backed company where your work directly supports a mission that protects millions worldwide.

We’re looking for a Product Marketing Writer to serve as the bridge between Product and our go-to-market organization. You’ll turn product strategy, roadmap progress, technical capabilities, and market insight into clear, compelling materials that help our field and our market understand what we do, what is changing, and why it matters. Your work will power our launches, sales enablement, web content, and analyst relationships, connecting detailed product content with our broader brand story. This role suits an exceptional writer and synthesizer who can absorb complex information quickly, create structure where there is ambiguity, and ship polished work.

Key Responsibilities:

Launch & Enablement

  • Partner with Product and Marketing leadership to understand what exists today, what is changing, what is coming next, and what is committed versus directional
  • Turn roadmap discussions into complete launch and enablement kits within days, including core messaging, launch briefs, sales decks, seller talk tracks, FAQs, objection handling, discovery questions, and demo narratives
  • Develop solution overviews, use-case briefs, competitive guidance, technical explainers, and internal training materials
  • Use modern generative design tools to produce visuals for enablement packages and collaborate with in-house or contract designers
  • Build interactive and AI-assisted enablement experiences, including guided product evaluations and playbooks

Messaging & Content

  • Build and maintain a product marketing source of truth covering platform narrative, product capabilities, priority use cases, technical differentiation, competitive positioning, and proof points
  • Write product and website copy, customer communications, partner materials, and campaign source material
  • Package capabilities across the portfolio to show how telemetry, APIs, integrations, AI tooling, and data products work together to solve customer problems
  • Write effectively for security practitioners, sellers, CISOs, analysts, executives, customers, and partners
  • Recognize when a product development requires a small update to an existing story and when it materially changes the narrative

Collaboration & GTM Readiness

  • Partner across Product, Marketing, Sales, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Communications, and Revenue Operations to ensure the organization is ready when something reaches the market
  • Co-develop written materials with Marketing leadership to support external industry analyst relationships
  • Identify missing pieces early and drive the decisions and cross-functional alignment required to launch successfully
  • Reduce the amount of translation Product leaders must personally perform for the field

Qualifications & Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing, solutions marketing, product management, technical marketing, or another product-to-market role
  • Experience in cybersecurity, enterprise infrastructure, data platforms, developer products, or another technically complex B2B category strongly preferred
  • Exceptional writing and editorial skills, with the ability to turn an hour of complex conversation into three pages of clarity
  • Demonstrated ability to take complicated products or concepts and turn them into clear, polished market-facing materials
  • Strong synthesis skills and the ability to identify the important signal inside large amounts of information
  • A portfolio of substantive work, such as launch materials, sales enablement, product narratives, solution briefs, presentations, web content, or messaging frameworks
  • Proficiency with AI tools, without outsourcing taste, judgment, or critical thinking
  • Strong project ownership and an instinct to ship
  • Ability to work effectively with Product and Engineering without requiring them to do the product marketer’s work

Additional Skills

  • Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment where product strategy continues to evolve
  • Sound judgment in distinguishing between established capabilities, directional plans, supportable claims, and messaging that requires qualification
  • Sufficient technical acumen to understand Team Cymru’s capabilities and engage subject matter experts with informed, insightful questions
  • Working knowledge of threat intelligence, network telemetry, or security operations concepts
  • Experience developing materials in support of industry analyst relations

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Computer Science, or equivalent experience (preferred)

Travel

Occasional travel for company meetings, industry events, or customer engagements may be required.

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 07/31/2029
Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
