Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Strategic Account Executive with a true “general manager” mindset for their territory. The ideal candidate excels at driving revenue growth through new customer acquisition, renewals, upsells, and strong long-term relationship management. This role requires a strategic sales approach, outstanding communication skills, and a commitment to customer success.

Key Responsibilities:

New Business Development

  • Exceed sales quotas through new-logo sales of Recon, Scout, and Feeds.
  • Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities while managing the pipeline in Salesforce.
  • Generate new opportunities within your assigned territory.
  • Convert Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) into qualified sales opportunities.

Account Management

  • Manage renewals and upsells within existing commercial accounts to maximize revenue.
  • Maintain strong customer communication via QBRs, calls, emails, and in-person events to ensure satisfaction and retention.

Customer Onboarding & Enablement

  • Support customer onboarding to ensure successful adoption of our solutions.
  • Lead customer enablement activities, including training sessions, presentations, and ongoing product education.

Salesforce Management

  • Record all sales activities and maintain accurate opportunity data in Salesforce for forecasting and reporting.
  • Leverage the MEDDPICC framework for both new and existing business.

Customer Analytics & Insights

  • Partner with CST to build a customer analytics function to better understand behavior and preferences.
  • Analyze customer data to identify trends and opportunities that inform sales strategies.

Collaboration with Marketing

  • Work closely with Marketing to convert leads from demand-generation efforts into opportunities.
  • Provide feedback on lead quality and campaign effectiveness to improve future programs.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and the MEDDIC sales framework.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Experience in customer success, account management, or sales enablement is a plus.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in SaaS or technology.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
