About Team Cymru

Team Cymru’s mission is to make the digital world safer by helping organizations track and disrupt cybercriminals, protect critical infrastructure, and ultimately save lives.

We provide unmatched visibility into global internet activity through our Pure Signal™ platform, giving customers insight into external threats at a scale few organizations can match. Our intelligence is trusted by organizations across government, enterprise, and the broader cybersecurity ecosystem.

As a mission-driven organization, our work has a real-world impact, supporting efforts that protect national security, critical infrastructure, and millions of people worldwide. We are a trusted partner to global cybersecurity and government leaders, delivering intelligence that helps organizations stay ahead of evolving threats.

We’re looking for a Customer Success Engineer to be the technical post-sales lead for customers across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, including international government and public sector organizations (such as national CERTs and CSIRTs, cybersecurity agencies, and law enforcement), financial institutions and telecommunications providers, managed security service providers (MSSPs) and cybersecurity vendors, and large multinational enterprises. You’ll help these customers achieve measurable security and business outcomes through the effective use of Team Cymru’s global threat intelligence, giving regional customers the same level of hands-on technical partnership our North American customers receive.

This role combines technical expertise and threat intelligence with a strong focus on post-sales value realization. You’ll serve as both a technical advisor and an operational champion, working closely with the EMEA sales team, Customer Success Managers, and CTI Advisors, and acting as the regional voice of the customer to our Product and Engineering teams. It’s ideal for someone with strong technical acumen, customer empathy, CTI fluency, and a bias for action.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Lifecycle Ownership & Value Realization

  • Own the technical post-sales customer journey for an EMEA portfolio, from sales handoff through onboarding, adoption, and renewal
  • Manage post-sales handoffs with account executives to ensure alignment on use cases, stakeholders, and measurable success criteria
  • Build and maintain success plans that map intelligence requirements to measurable ROI and business impact
  • Accelerate time-to-initial-value by facilitating outcome-driven meetings that integrate intelligence into practical workflows
  • Identify and resolve adoption gaps, technical blockers, and stakeholder misalignment

Intelligence Consumption, Workflow Enablement & Operationalization

  • Translate customer business priorities into CTI use cases, workflows, playbooks, and adoption strategies
  • Guide customers in operationalizing Team Cymru intelligence across people, process, and technology, including analyst workflows, automated enrichment, alert triage, threat hunting, and reporting
  • Deliver workshops, enablement sessions, solution demos, and workflow design tailored to customer maturity, remotely and on-site across the region
  • Support the development and evolution of CTI playbooks aligned with operational decisions and measurable impact, including those that support customers’ regulatory obligations under frameworks such as NIS2 and DORA

Technical Integration & Adoption

  • Serve as the primary technical advisor for post-sales customers in EMEA
  • Guide customers through integrating Team Cymru intelligence with security tooling
  • Troubleshoot customer adoption gaps across APIs, data flows, integrations, and operational workflows
  • Monitor product usage, adoption, integration health, and stakeholder engagement to assess account health
  • Recommend improvements to increase intelligence consumption, efficiency, and measurable customer value
  • Create and refine scalable technical enablement assets, adoption playbooks, and workflow templates, adapting them for regional and multilingual audiences where needed

Qualifications & Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including at least 2 years in CTI-adjacent or security operations roles (e.g., SOC, threat intelligence, threat hunting, detection engineering, incident response, or security engineering)
  • 3+ years in customer-facing technical roles, such as Customer Success Engineering, Technical Account Management, Solution Engineering, Professional Services, Security Consulting, or post-sales engineering
  • Experience supporting customers across multiple EMEA countries, engaging both technical and business stakeholders
  • Hands-on experience helping customers adopt, integrate, or operationalize threat intelligence
  • Strong understanding of CTI concepts, including the intelligence lifecycle, priority intelligence requirements, threat actor infrastructure, indicators, enrichment, confidence, relevance, and operationalization
  • Ability to map customer outcomes to practical CTI workflows, playbooks, and measurable success plans
  • Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, threat hunting, detection engineering, and security operations
  • Experience integrating or consuming intelligence via SIEM, SOAR, TIP, EDR, APIs, or detection pipelines
  • Knowledge of network protocols and internet infrastructure concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, TLS, and ports
  • Familiarity with customer success platforms and CRM tools, such as Salesforce, Gainsight, or similar systems
  • Fluent English is required

Additional Skills

  • Customer-first mindset with strong ownership, a bias for action, and practical problem-solving
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for technical and executive stakeholders
  • Skilled at leading discovery to uncover pain points, maturity gaps, and desired outcomes
  • Experience building and executing success plans and adoption strategies, driving value through QBRs, workshops, and enablement
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across accounts and time zones with strong follow-through, attention to detail, and clear communication
  • Experience with NetFlow, sFlow, JFlow, IPFIX, detection rules, threat hunting, and infrastructure analysis is preferred
  • Experience working with international government or public sector organizations is a plus
  • Awareness of EMEA data protection and cyber regulation, such as UK GDPR, EU GDPR, NIS2, and DORA, is a plus
  • Basic scripting or automation experience with Python, PowerShell, or similar languages is a plus
  • Proficiency in an additional European language (such as German, French, Spanish, or Italian) or Arabic is a plus

Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Cybersecurity certifications such as GCTI, GCIA, CISSP, CREST, Security+, or relevant vendor certifications are preferred
  • Customer Success, Technical Account Management, or enablement certifications are a plus

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
